Last week I fell really ill and wasn’t really able to pursue any kind of photographic adventures. After lying in bed for several days I tried to develop one unfinished roll of Tri-x. Knowing that I wouldn’t be able to continue shooting it for a while, I decided to soup it — and MAN did everything go wrong!

First of all most of my shots were terribly underexposed. My battery was probably running out and maybe the light meter wasn’t giving proper readings (or then I just messed everything up myself). Shooting on backlight objects without compensating definitely doesn’t help either. Developing while feeling feverish wasn’t the best move either. I could have messed up something while doing that too. I also managed to drop my wet negatives constantly getting then really dirty. I got pretty much my dustiest and hairiest scans ever.

This could have been a nice little photo if exposed and developed correctly without dropping the negative to the ground three times in a row while scanning it.
Welcome to underexpose-O-rama.
Underexposement continues.
The only shot of the bunch that I actually like. This was actually over-exposed because I had set the camera for indoors light and didn’t remember to re-set after deciding to shoot through to the window. I was able to recover the image in Photoshop.
Probably the only decent exposure of the entire roll.
