Absolutely great news! I’ve been working on with my first 35mm photo exhibition called Timeless Helsinki (Ajaton Helsinki). It is open until January 15th 2018 at Galleria Monami in Helsinki. Free entry, so if you’re around, do come by!
The exhibition displays 26 of my recent documentary style street photos. The main focus is on the people of Helsinki. All the situations are candid of course and not framed in any way. I’ve been drawn into timelessness and chosen the subjects accordingly. I’m interested in scenes that creates a timeless illusion. All the photos have been shot on traditional 35mm black and white film with my vintage Olympus SLR camera. All photos are hand developed and not retouched.
Galleria Monami is a new gallery that is located in Rastilan Kartano (Karavaanikatu 4, Helsinki) at the same space with Cafe Monami. There are plenty of free parking space and also a short walk from Rastila metro station
